Get MMS Quick Start Guide
In order to use our application you must be able to receive the text
message mentioned on the previous page.
Some iPhone's receive this text with no problem while others will have
to follow the steps below in order to get this feature activated.
Before you can use the Get MMS iPhone application you will need to
contact AT&T
You will need to call

to speak to
AT&T Technical Support.
Be sure to speak with "
Technical
Support" and
not
"
Customer Service"
When an AT&T technical support rep gets on the line you need to ask
them to refer to
My CSP ID: KB65959.
AT&T technical support will be able to review the steps on how to
correct your Get MMS issue using the above ID.
Please say the following: “
I do
not receive a text message to view my mms message on the
viewmymessage.com website when someone sends me an MMS from any phone.
Please look up My CSP ID: KB65959 so I can have my issue resolved"
Have the tech support rep ensure that there are no active MMS
(multimedia) features anywhere on your account or in the AT&T
switch. Get MMS will not work if MMS is attached to your iPhone
telephone number.
If the technical support
representative tries to connect you to Apple, tell them NO. This
is a problem with your AT&T MMS switch provisioning and has nothing
to do with Apple.
Do not hang up until you are able to receive the text message required
by our app. Have tech support or someone you know send a mms to your
phone while you are on the phone with AT&T to ensure that you are
receiving this notification text.
We've seen this process take anywhere from 15 minutes to 6 hours to
become active on your iPhone account so please be patient. If you
continue to experience problems receiving this text you will need to
continue to contact AT&T until they successfully add this feature
to your account.
If your iPhone is part of an AT&T family messaging package you may
be required to change your iPhone data plan to include an independent
iphone text messaging package. Please ask your AT&T representative
the best course of action to take to solve this issue.
